Attain Fame

णच्चा णमइ मेहावी, लोए कित्ती से जायए ।

हवइ किच्चाणं सरणं, भूयाणं जगई जहा ॥

Meaning:

A disciple who gets into the depths of the aforesaid vinay sutra, and practices it in daily life, his prosperity spreads far and beyond. Just as animals are supported by land, likewise all the positive qualities and great discipline seek refuge in that respectful disciple.

भावार्थ:

पूर्वोक्त विनय सूत्रों को जानके जो मेधावी शिष्य उनका आचरण करता है उनकी कीर्ति जगत में फैल जाती हैं। जैसे पृथ्वी, प्राणियों के लिए आधाररुप होती है, वैसे ही विनीत शिष्य समस्त शुभ अनुष्ठानों और सद् गुणों के लिए शरणभूत हो जाते है।

ભાવાર્થ :

વિનયસૂત્રોને જાણીને જે મેધાવી શિષ્ય તેનું આચરણ કરે છે, તેની કીર્તિ જગતમાં ફેલાઇ જાય છે. જેમ પૃથ્વી પ્રાણીઓ માટે આધારરૂપ હોય છે, તેમ તે વિનીત શિષ્ય સમસ્ત શુભ અનુષ્ઠાનો અને સદ્‍ગુણો માટે શરણભૂત થઇ જાય છે અર્થાત્ ભંડાર થઇ જાય છે.
