परस्स लाभमणासाएमाणे अपीहेमाणे अपत्थेमाणे अणभिलसमाणे णो मणं उच्चावयं णियच्छइ, णो विणिघायमावज्जइ
Shree Thanang Sutra | Adhyayan 4| Uddeshak 3| Gatha 54
Meaning:
The one who is content with what they receive, who does not feel bitter about what others receive, have no desires, no expectations in prayers and no wishes. By not getting jealous of others’ achievements and having no expectations, desires, wishes, they keep their emotions steady and stable at all times
भावार्थ:
अपने खुद के लाभ से संतुष्ट होते हैं। दूसरों के लाभ के आनंद का या सुख का विचार करते नहीं, इच्छा करते नहीं, प्रार्थना करते नहीं, अभिलाषा करते नहीं। दूसरों के लाभ का आनंद या विचार ना करते, इच्छा ना करते, प्रार्थना ना करते, अभिलाषा ना करते, मन की स्थिति को स्थिर रखते हैं।
ભાવાર્થ:
જે પોતાના લાભથી સંતુષ્ટ થાય છે, બીજાના લાભનો આસ્વાદ કરતા નથી, ઇચ્છા કરતા નથી, પ્રાર્થના કરતા નથી, અભિલાષા કરતા નથી. તે બીજાના લાભનો આસ્વાદ ન કરતા, ઇચ્છા ન કરતા, પ્રાર્થના ન કરતા, અભિલાષા ન કરતા, મનની સ્થિતિને સ્થિર રાખે છે.
